Walk for Life 2016

WalkForLife_Tshirt_2016GRAPHIC-01If you can walk, run, skip, jump, or rollerblade – you can be part of the Pregnancy Resource Center’s June 18th Walk for Life!

Walk for Life is a fundraising event to support the Pregnancy Resource Center, our local nonprofit ministry serving the Greater Grand Rapids community. We give people hope and resources that enable them to parent their children and choose healthy lifestyles for themselves. Our services include education, medical care, and support for families with children under the age of two.

On June 18th, please consider joining our Walk for Life two-mile morning walk at one of three locations: Catholic Central High School in downtown Grand Rapids; Cornerstone University on the East Beltline; or the Paul Henry Trail in Middleville.

The addition of an 8:00 AM, timed 5K race at our Cornerstone University location takes place prior to our traditional family walk. This race is designed for athletes as well as individuals and families interested in the health benefits of running.

Walk for Life is a unique opportunity for hundreds of us to show our support for life and the fabulous work of the Pregnancy Resource Center. Last year, we raised more than $130,000 through the efforts of an estimated 350 walkers, 70 participating churches and 100 volunteers.

Join us Saturday, June 18th! By March 2016 on-line registration will be available for this year’s walk. Participants will also be able to download a pledge form, if desired. For more information contact us at events@prcgr.org or 616.259.1522.

Show your support for our local Pregnancy Resource Center and Walk for Life by joining us on June 18! Promotional materials will be available in March.
